1) Forget your Password / UserID
--------------------------------

If you cannot log into the website, there are several things you can do.

a) How to see if you are registered :-

Click on the lower section, "I'm not sure if I am... >> forgotten username form".

Enter your email address and the system will send out confirmation of your ID to you.

If you are not registered / Have no Freecycle ID, you will need to register for one.

Follow the top section of the above website.


b) You are registered, but forgotten password.

Once you have confirmation of your ID, go to the website again

http://my.freecycle.org/

and follow the "I'm not sure if I am... >> forgotten password form".

you will be issued a new password, which you can then login to the website.

PLEASE NOTE: Sometimes, it may take a while for the new temporary password to get to you,
due to heavy internet traffic (lots of emails going to everyone).

You will be given the opportunity to change your password to something you can remember once you
log in with your temporary password.





2) Useful areas of the website.

Here you can change your password, Email, or delete your account
(If you no longer wish to be a Freecycle member.)


b) http://my.freecycle.org/home/groups

Here you can change your delivery settings from normal / digest / nomail etc for each group.

You can also leave the group (existing members), or join the group (for non members).

Just put 'auckland' in the bottom search box, & you can join the group.


c) http://my.freecycle.org/home/posts

Here you can make a new offer/wanted posting, & monitor your existing messages to your group(s).


d) The home-page is http://groups.freecycle.org/aucklandfreecycle
(it redirects to the longer URL).

Here you can browse the offers / wanted messages from the members of the group.


The "GROUP INFO" tab, will show the description of the group,
and the files available to members and non members.
