Welcome to the Slave Lake Freecycle group!

The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,041 groups with 8,957,077 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and thus keeping good stuff out of landfills.

Membership is free, and everything posted must be FREE, legal and appropriate for all ages. To view the items being given away or sought in Slave Lake, you must be a member of the local group. To view the local group posts, visit the local Yahoo Group where they are located by clicking on the link below.

The Slave Lake and Area (Includes Smith, Chisholm, Hondo, Wide Water, Canyon Creek, Kinuso, Wabasca, Red Earth Creek, Peerless Lake, Trout Lake, and Loon Lake.) Freecycle™ Network is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too!
