Welcome to the Longmont Freecycle group!

The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 5,042 groups with 8,960,220 members across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and thus keeping good stuff out of landfills.

Membership is free, and everything posted must be FREE, legal and appropriate for all ages. To view the items being given away or sought in Longmont, you must be a member of the local group. The concept of Freecycle(TM) is simple: you have something you no longer need (a couch, a CD, a computer) and you wish to "recycle" it for no money in return. Or you're looking for a specific item (a couch, a CD, a computer), and you'd love getting it for free. This is the place to post notices about items you'd like to give away and find things that you need. The primary requirement is the transfer of an item from one person to another has to be FREE.

Via Freecycle, we can help the environment by diverting useful items from landfills while also helping members of our local community. Non-profit groups in the region are encouraged to participate. Our main focus is the Longmont, Colorado area. Please keep posts limited to Subjects in #3 below. 1) Things must be free, no trading or selling. Go to Ebay or http://denver.craigslist.org/ to sell things or barter.

2) This is an all ages group. No guns, no medicines, no adult-only type posts, NO COUPONS.
