Spam and Reminders

Hello Freecyclers! We are writing today because the moderators of this group have received two spam mails sent by members. The spams are essentually a member gives a spammer like "shop it to me" your email address. We have a zero tolerance to spam in the San Jose group and will remove any members who are giving email addresses out. If you receive something like this please forward it to sjfcmods@yahoo.com. We would also like to remind everyone to combine your posts! When you make a post for every single item you have to give away or want it generates an email. With almost 4000 members it is important to combine as much as possible. Please also close your old posts. Finally, if another member asks you to pay for an item or somehow a post gets through requesting money for an item please let us know. We want to make this group as user friendly as possible and always welcome any comments or questions. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend.
