Times are tough for most people and probably going to get a lot worse.  Why throw something away when another Morley resident could use it.

Founded in November 2009 because we didn't have a local one, the Morley Freecycle Group is open to all who want to "recycle" something rather than throw it away. Through various types of advertising and referrals, we now have over one thousand local members.  Whether it's furniture, clothing, DIY materials or even an old car, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Non-profit groups and Morley Community Organisations are especially welcome to participate to stock themselves.

One constraint: everything posted must be FREE. Morley Freecycle is affiliated to The Freecycle Network a non-profit organization (no-one gets paid) and movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfill. Check out freecycle.org for  info.

Morley Freecycle has no political or religious affiliation, is independent of and not supported by Morley Town Council and costs the taxpayer nothing to run.  EVERYONE is welcome to take part including areas on the edge of the Morley district.

When you apply for a membership, a short questionaire will be dispatched by email.  Please return it via email within three days or membership may be rejected.  If you do not receive te email, please check your spam folder.

kind regards
